A. General Conditions

1. Acceptance of the electronic contract

By accessing, browsing or using Limbouruguay.com (hereinafter, " Limbo " or the " Platform "), you declare that you have read and fully accepted this Agreement. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using the Platform.

2. Basic definitions

Platform: The Limbouruguay.com website and its subdomains.
Visitor User or Visitor: A person who browses without posting listings.
Advertiser: An adult natural person who posts listings for erotic or companionship services.
Content: Text, images, videos, hyperlinks or other information posted by a User.
Prohibited Content: Any Content that falls within the cases of section A.4 or any other unlawful conduct or conduct contrary to these Terms and Conditions.
Personal data: Any information concerning identified or identifiable natural persons, in accordance with Law No. 18.331.
Premium Listings: Featured advertising spaces and positioning tools purchased by Advertisers.
Site Material: All design, logos, databases, source code and other intellectual property elements belonging to Limbo or licensed to it.

3. Age of majority

Access is prohibited to anyone under 18 or who has not reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction. The Platform incorporates the RTA (Restricted to Adults) label and the rating=adult meta tag to make it easier for parental controls and search engines to block it.

4. Prohibited content (applies to everyone)

It is strictly prohibited to post, link to or solicit Content that:

involves or suggests the participation of minors;
promotes violence, discrimination, illicit drugs, weapons or illegal activities;
infringes the copyright or image rights of third parties;
is deceptive, fraudulent or defamatory.

5. Zero tolerance for trafficking and exploitation

Limbo maintains a "zero tolerance" policy toward human trafficking and will cooperate with the competent authorities where there is well-founded suspicion of a crime.

6. Nature of the service. No intermediation

Limbo is a classified ads platform . It does not act as an agency, representative or intermediary of Advertisers or Visitors, nor does it participate, directly or indirectly, in the meetings that the parties may independently arrange. Limbo does not receive commissions, fees or any economic compensation linked to such possible meetings.

Limbo does not know, cannot know, and has no interest in knowing, whether an Advertiser and a Visitor have met or arranged meetings.

Limbo does not recruit, direct or organize the activity offered by Advertisers.

7. No employment or partnership relationship

Posting a listing does not create an employment, agency, mandate or partnership relationship between Limbo and the Advertiser. Each Advertiser operates independently and assumes full responsibility for the activity they promote.

8. Identity verification with Didit

To protect our community, Limbo uses Didit , a leading platform specialized in KYC (Know Your Customer), the process used to verify a person's identity.

Didit protects the process through encryption and controls audited under SOC 2 Type II, along with ISO/IEC 27001, 27017 and 27018 certifications. These international frameworks are a benchmark for the security and privacy required by large banks and financial institutions.

New Advertisers complete a KYC process to verify their identity and age of majority. Depending on the applicable flow, this process may validate the identity document, compare the face and check that the person is real and present.
Didit processes the necessary information in its secure environment and communicates to Limbo the result and the data needed to assess the verification.
Limbo complements this technology with manual review, photo comparison and reverse search to review listings.
These measures reduce fraud, but no system can guarantee a person's identity during an interaction outside the Platform. The Visitor accepts this limitation and the risk inherent in any offline interaction.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies. Their use is governed by the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to the service

Limbo reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Platform, its sections, features, user accounts and/or Content, at any time and for any reason, without any obligation of prior notice or right to compensation. Updated versions of these Terms will be published on the Platform and will apply from their effective date.

11. User conduct

Any User is prohibited from, among other things and without limitation:

harassing, threatening, intimidating or impersonating third parties;
posting illegal, false, harmful or defamatory material, or material involving minors;
posting personal data of third parties without sufficient legal basis or invading the privacy of other people;
using contact details obtained on the Platform for spam, harassment, extortion or repeated unwanted contact;
posting duplicate or manifestly miscategorized content to manipulate visibility;
interfering with the intellectual property rights of the Site or of third parties;
using bots, scrapers or other automated tools without written authorization;
distributing malware or facilitating fraudulent practices.

Every User also undertakes to report violations by writing to [email protected] and to comply with applicable regulations.

12. Disclaimers and total limitation of liability

Limbo and those who operate it provide the Platform "as is" and "as available" . They do not promise that the service will always work or that the Content will be accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Limbo will not be liable for any damage, direct or indirect, lost profits, loss of data or otherwise, arising from the use of or inability to use the Site, even if it has been advised of such a possibility.

13. Release and indemnification in favor of Limbo

The User (Visitor or Advertiser) undertakes to hold harmless, defend and indemnify Limbo, its directors, employees and advisors against any claim, damage, loss, expense or cost, including professional fees and interest, arising from:

their use of the Platform;
the breach of these Terms or of the law; or
the infringement of third-party rights.

14. Refund policy for advertisers

No refunds will be made under any circumstances. If a listing is suspended or removed, whether for a violation, at the user's own request, because of changes to the service or for any other reason, the amounts paid are not returned.

15. Intellectual property of the Site

The Site Material is protected by copyright, trademarks and other regulations. Its total or partial reproduction without Limbo's written authorization is prohibited. Infringement entitles Limbo to bring civil and criminal actions.

B. Specific conditions for Visitors

Free and open access
The Visitor may browse Limbo without registering or providing identifying personal data.
Lawful and responsible use
The Visitor undertakes to:
- refrain from downloading, copying or redistributing Content without the owner's authorization;
- not use the published information for unlawful purposes, harassment or spam.
Limitation of liability
Limbo makes its best efforts to verify the accuracy and currency of listings (manual review, photo comparison and reverse search); however, it does not guarantee their absolute accuracy. The Visitor uses the information at their own risk. Limbo will not be liable for indirect damages, including lost profits or loss of opportunity, arising from use of the Platform.
Additional commitment of the Visitor
The Visitor declares that they:
- are over 18 or of legal age in their jurisdiction;
- will not show Content to minors or to people who might be offended;
- will not copy or redistribute the Content;
- release Limbo from any liability arising from use contrary to these Terms.

C. Specific conditions for Advertisers

Registration and identity verification
1.1. Registration of new Advertisers requires completing the KYC verification of identity and age of majority through Didit before posting, as set out in section A.8.
1.2. The Advertiser must use their own valid and authentic information and documents, and follow the instructions of the verification flow.
1.3. Limbo may review the result and request a new verification when it detects inconsistencies or risk signals.
Legal obligations of the Advertiser
- Declare that they are 18 or older and, where applicable, are registered in the National Sex Work Registry (Registro Nacional del Trabajo Sexual) and hold a valid health card (carné sanitario) (Law No. 17.515).
- Post only their own, truthful and up-to-date Content.
- Not act on behalf of third parties or facilitate prohibited intermediation.
Rules on listing Content
- Comply with the prohibitions in section A.4.
- Not include copyrighted material without a license.
- Not duplicate listings or post them in the wrong categories.
Moderation and collaboration with authorities
Limbo manually reviews every listing, handles reports at [email protected] and reserves the right to remove Content without prior notice.
Accuracy and responsibility
Limbo makes reasonable efforts to verify the data; however, final responsibility lies with the Advertiser, who will hold Limbo harmless in accordance with section A.13.
Suspension, deletion or unpublishing of accounts and listings
Limbo may, at any time and at its sole discretion, unpublish a listing, temporarily suspend or permanently cancel an account, with or without stating a reason, with or without prior notice to the User. This power covers, without being limited to, cases of: (a) actual, potential or merely suspected breach of these Terms, (b) complaints or reports from third parties, (c) signs of unlawful activity or activity contrary to the "zero tolerance" policy, (d) protection of the security or reputation of the Platform, of other users or of third parties, or (e) any other circumstance Limbo considers relevant. None of these measures will give rise to any right to compensation or refund (see section A.14).
Intellectual property, public nature and persistence
7.1. The Advertiser declares to be the holder of the rights to the Content and grants Limbo a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide and sublicensable license to the extent necessary to host, reproduce, technically adapt, display and distribute it within the Platform and promote the listing while it remains published and in reasonable technical backups.
7.2. The Advertiser acknowledges that content posted in public areas is not confidential and may be accessed, indexed, stored or copied by third parties unrelated to Limbo.
7.3. Even after a listing is deleted, residual copies may remain in caches, backups or search engine results outside Limbo's control.
Infringement notification procedure
8.1. To report a copyright violation, send an email to [email protected] with the identification of the complainant and, where applicable, their representation, a description of the right allegedly infringed, the exact location of the reported content, their contact details and a good-faith explanation of the claimed infringement.
8.2. Limbo may remove the Content provisionally or permanently and evaluate any responses it deems relevant.

D. Privacy Policy

The processing of personal data carried out in connection with the Platform is governed by the current Privacy Policy , which forms part of these Terms.

In the event of a conflict between a provision specifically concerning the processing of personal data and another general provision of these Terms, the Privacy Policy will prevail on that matter.

F. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any dispute related to the Platform will be governed by the laws in force of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay.

Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, the courts and tribunals seated in Montevideo will have jurisdiction.
